Annunciate le nomination ai Golden Globe 2018, il film di Luca Guadagnino, Chiamami Con Il Tuo Nome (che sarà in sala il prossimo 25 gennaio), ha ottenuto tre candidature: miglior film drammatico e per la coppia di attori protagonisti Armie Hammer e Timothée Chalamet.
La 75esima edizione dei premi della stampa estera di Hollywood (la HFPA, Hollywood Foreigner Press Association) si terrà il prossimo 7 gennaio a Los Angeles. La HFPA come tradizione ha presentato le nomination per i migliori film e serie TV.
Oltre a Luca Guadagnino al suo attesissimo Chiamami Col Tuo Nome, per l’Italia c’è anche la soddisfazione della nomination a Helen Mirren, protagonista di Elle & John: The Leisure Seeker, il film americano di Paolo Virzì presentato all’ultimo Festival di Venezia. Alla kermesse della Laguna sono stati presentati anche alcuni fra i film più nominati: The Shape of Water, che ha anche vinto il Leone d’Oro, e Tre Manifesti a Ebbing, Missouri, rispettivamente sette e sei candidature ciascuno. Anche sei nomination per The Post, l’atteso prossimo film di Steven Spielberg. Fa sorridere, invece, la candidatura a Christopher Plummer come miglior attore non protagonista in Tutti I Soldi Del Mondo, nel “ruolo” che fu di Kevin Spacey prima che lo scandalo molestie sessuali lo cancellasse dallo stesso film.
I Golden Globe riguardano anche le serie televisive, e anche in questo reparto un po’ di soddisfazione per l’Italia e Roma in particolare: Jude Law è stato candidato come miglior attore di una miniserie drammatica per il ruolo del pontefice in The Young Pope la serie di Paolo Sorrentino. Nella sezione TV, a farla da padrone Big Little Lies, Feud, Fargo e The Handmaid’s Tale.
